This weekend, August 7 – 8, YWAM Northwoods is hosting the “Set Apart” Conference at their campus near Chetek in Wisconsin.
The conference is meant to help break down denominational and generational walls by emphasising “being real and vulnerable with one another”.
It goes from Friday at 2:00 – late Saturday night. The conference has been planned by many youth in the area and includes pastors from various churches around the area as speakers during the weekend.

Over 100 bikers gathered in Kidron, Ohio, USA where they held the annual Blessing of the Bikes, which is a charity fund-raiser for the Christian Children’s Home of Ohio.
The fund-raiser included a ride through the local counties, group and individual prayer for the people who were there, live entertainment and a chicken barbecue. They also auctioned off a 1998 Harley Sportster 883, with all the proceeds going to Youth With A Mission.
In addition to raising money the event also gives people who are searching a safe place where they can ask questions.

We believe that prayer is a powerful thing, and something that God wants us to engage in individually and in groups.
Recently a YWAM Team in Kona, Hawaii engaged in a “Purity Siege” in front of a local porn shop. As they say on the site for the video God has given us the power of prayer to destroy strongholds, including ones of lust, sex and porn.

After spending the last three years renovating our house in Australia I enjoy good before and after renovation photos.
YWAM Metro New York recently went through some pretty major renovations on about five of the properties that they use. The places seemed to have a lot of character before the renovations, and the work that they did to them really brought out that character.

YWAM ran a 15-day detox camp at VVD Phangrei with the motto “Time to heal”. There were people from all over India and around the world (USA, UK and Norway) to give input to the participants in the camp.
Youth With A Mission has run a few of these detox camp in the area. The area is notorious for the number of drug addicts in the district. The camp engaged many different doctors and nurses from the area to help with the camp. According to the camp director, Mayola Ngamchiyo, “Our camp is focusing not only on treating campers physically but also on providing them mental and spiritual solace through gospel news”.
