The Invitation, October 8
In the sphere of sports, we are seeing an incredible move of God. He is raising up generations of players, athletes, coaches, fans, and referees who are glorifying God both on the field and outside of it.
Through many sports ministries YWAM has served the nations. We are seeing a pioneering movement expanding globally, with new sports initiatives in Bangladesh and Nepal, and soccer academies in Tanzania, Costa Rica, Lebanon, and countries across Africa, the Americas, and Europe.
Sport is a universal language that breaks through cultural, geographical, and social barriers. Please take a moment right now to pray for the gospel’s impact in the world of sports. Please also pray with us on October 8, the prayer day for YWAM’s prayer initiative called The Invitation.
Our survey: Also, please help us improve The Invitation. Please take three minutes to complete our survey by clicking this link: www.surveymonkey.com/r/7CKHWY5. Thank you!
- Pray for fresh dreams of sports ministry in the nations. Pray for YWAM workers, ministries, and leaders worldwide to dream again with God for their region, nation, and the ends of the earth, receiving His vision to be a blessing in and through the sphere of sports.
- Pray for people involved with sports. Pray for everyone connected to sports—from fans and recreational players to amateurs and seasoned professionals—that they would stand bold as a light on a hill and openly share their faith.
- Pray for collective collaboration and impact. Pray for a spirit of unity and strong collaboration across churches, ministries and YWAM ministry centers as they use sports as an evangelism and discipleship tool. Pray that together they would reach and champion young people to impact nations.
