Eleven nations from around the globe recently joined together for YWAM’s One Voice worship event. This event had a uniquely Latin feel with a large representation of YWAM bases from Latin America joining in on the event. The One Voice worship events started in 2003 and use GENESIS (Video Conferencing) to bring the nations together to worship God.

A YWAM Thailand team has been regularly involved in ministering to male sex tourists visiting the red-light districts in Bangkok. Prostitution is a booming business in Thailand that brings in millions of dollars to the country and holds many men, women and children in bondage. YWAM Thailand engages the sex tourists in a non-threatening way to challenge them in what they are a part of.

YWAM has partnered with many churches around the Vancouver area for the ‘More Than Gold’ Olympic outreach targeting the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. More Than Gold (MTG) has attracted many supporting ministries and denominations, including: Baptists, Mennonites, Roman Catholics, Lutherans, Presbyterians, Pentecostals, Seventh Day Adventists, YWAM and more.
